What an energetic, passionate, and inspiring first presentation by Matteo D'Ottavio (UK Brewing Champion) in the first round of the World Brewers Cup in Milan, 2021. Matteo has worked hard, together with his team at WatchHouse over the past year to perfect a next-level coffee experience. It was a pleasure to help Matteo with the perfect brewer to complement the rest of his routine and I wish him the best of luck for the rest of the competition.

In Matteo's presentation, he revealed the brewer we designed together for his competition - a unique competition tool made from a special Polycarbonate with the lowest thermal conductivity. Matteo wanted to optimise for the competition setting in order to increase heat retention during the early stages of the brew and optimise extraction.
