We currently make these brewers in small batches and we offer pre-order opportunities to help us predict stock levels. A pre-order means that you are buying a product that is not yet made. Take it with you

Made for adventures and adventurers

Designed to fit into cups, camping pots, and into any corner of a bag. The Orea is the world's most compact full-size pour-over brewer.

How to brew

The basic 2 minute brew

Faster flow

Designed to extract brighter notes and sweetness

The Orea brewer has a unique drainage ring that results in a fast flow rate. What this means for you is that you can grind finer and extract the brighter notes in coffee. If you love the nutty, fruity, citrusy, or chocolatey tastes that come with specialty coffee - you will love this brewer.

How it's made

Precision-milled from one solid block of aluminium

Milled from one piece of solid aerospace-grade aluminium using sophisticated 5-axis CNC machines. This yields a unique high-strength single-material unibody construction that is guaranteed to last through generations. The most robust brewer on the market - guaranteed.

Why is it so expensive?

Like any company that considers what materials to use for their product, we could have made the Orea brewer out of plastic and sold it at 1/4 the price. We didn't want to do that. We decided to use a rugged process and a rugged material because we would expect you to use this for life - at home and on your adventures. Throw it in a pack, strap it to your bike, rescue it from the bottom of the sea - you get what you pay for. There's no brewer like it on the market.

Additionally, Orea is set up to maximise impact - 10% of profits from every sale is donated to projects that make a huge impact in coffee origin countries through an impact fund.

What filters can I use?

When you buy the brewer - we send you some filters to cover your first weeks of use. The Orea brewer was designed to use Kalita Wave 155 filters.

Which cook systems does it fit?

Designed to pack together with a 100g gas canister in 700ml+ cook systems. The pot must be taller than 9.5cm to fit the gas canister and the brewer. You can view a list of pots that we have verified here. The Orea also fits inside of most cups - a cup needs a mouth diameter larger than 7.5cm to easily pack one of these brewers.

How many cups can I brew at once?

You can brew 1 cup at once (about 350ml max).

What does the brew compare to?

The Orea brewer uses the Kalita filter system but the brew outcome is quite different. Due to a much faster flow, you can grind finer and extract more brightness from the same coffee. This also means that you will extract different notes vs a standard Kalita brew. What you are left with is a brighter cup, with sharper notes and more clarity. In that sense, the brew outcome is somewhere between a flat-bed brewer and a cone-shaped brewer.
